What you will learn in these 3 hour packed painting labs is all about the big "4": Shapes, Values, Edges and Colors. With knowledge of these four aspects of painting, your paintings will reflect what you really wanted to paint with outstanding results. You will learn color mixing, brushwork, composition and DRAWING with charcoal and a brush. Don't be afraid, because we paint shapes, not things! Those shapes, turn into beautiful portraits, landscapes, florals, grandchildren etc.
Most people new to painting get hung up in color right away. I will explain why the first important agenda is get the shapes correct, the lights and darks and how we put all of this together with edges and then feed in the color.
Basically, it is simple. I do not use "flowery" language. I teach the strong fundamentals which allow you to explore successfully what you want and love to paint.
